Town Clerk

The Clerk’s office is the general information center for the Town of Huron. Please feel free to email, call of stop by if you have any questions of any of our town departments or government functions. We will be happy to direct you to the appropriate party. The Town Clerk’s office is responsible for the maintaining the Town’s records, including Vital Records of Birth, Death and Marriage. We issue DEC hunting and fishing licenses as well as dog licenses. The Clerk is responsible for taking and recording the minutes for each Town Board meeting. We also offer notary services, Peddlers permits, disability parking permits, process FOIL requests, collect property taxes, issue certificates of residency and genealogical services. See Services on left for more information.
